Here are some tips on how to pull off the fun trend!
One of my favorite fun trends is color blocking, but sometimes it can be a bit tricky to pull off. When it comes to color blocking, there's a few specific details that I try to keep in mind as I'm getting dressed. Here are some tips for pulling off this trend as well as examples of where you can buy bright clothes for spring!
1. Stick To 3 Colors Or Less
When color blocking, it's important to keep it on the simpler side to avoid looking like a rainbow threw up on you! I try to stay within a color scheme of three colors to ensure that I'm not going too crazy with my color choices!
2. Style within the same tones
When color blocking, it's important to use colors that have a similar tone. For example, color blocking only with pastels or neons. If you stick to this rule, you can mix all different colors together and it will still look coherent.
3. Keep the colors simple
Make sure to keep the bright colors simple! For example, try to avoid multicolored prints so that the outfit doesn't become confusing. If you do want to use an item that's multicolored, make sure that the rest of the outfit follows the same color scheme!
